HwyCam.com - Instructions
How to view:
Traffic Cameras - From HwyCam.com, select a province. Once the page loads,
cities and their highways are listed under "Traffic Cameras." Select a highway and wait for
the new page to load. You can then select an intersection with that highway and view that camera.
Note that some longer highways, such as Highway 401 in Ontario, are split up into multiple sections.
In this case, after selecting the highway, you will then have to select a section of the highway. Traffic Conditions - From HwyCam.com, select a province (note that traffic condition
reports are currently only available in Ontario). After the page loads, regions with traffic condition
reports are listed under the "Traffic Conditions (Text)" heading.
How To Use HwyCam.com:
From HwyCam.com, select a city or province/state; you will be redirected to a new page.
Once this new page loads, select a camera, or if applicable, a highway or area. Some
areas, such as Toronto, will feature driving conditions as well. For driving directions,
enter the start postal code, and the destination postal code from the index page. How HwyCam.com Works:
HwyCam.com retreives its information from the Ministries of Transportation and the Departments
of Transportation. Information is retrieved approximately every 10 minutes, regardless of
if the information has changed or not.
